overall, it's not bad considering the price (which is ridiculously high, and going up, but about the most affordable in simi valley)
our apartment has rotted floorboards, the entire bathroom vanity had to be taken out when the apartment next door had water damage, and in taking it out and putting it back in, the repairman trashed the walls and the vanity. i have yet to see if this comes out of our deposit. the screens are all falling off.
there are cockroaches and black widows, the pool is disgusting and if youre lucky, your neighbors will be college students. if youre not lucky, youll have a family of 12 who dont speak english above you, or a 35 year old white trash woman who yells at her 13 kids all day long and into the night.
my car was broken into, and the policeman said that 4 other cars had been stolen from the parking lot in the last week. security is non-existant.
trying to get use the laundry room can be a nightmare.
if you have to live in simi valley, and youre on a budget, it's not a horrible option...maybe...but i cant thnk of anything nice to say, except that some of the management staff are very helpful, some arent.
