Not So Bad

Okay well lets start off by saying that we live in the first building next to the office so the train is NOT an issue. I don't know how I would feel if I lived behind the train tracks but up hear we never know when the train is around unless our window is open and they pull the wistle.
The building is nice and new, to be honest we love living here. It has a gym, two pools with a shower and restrooms, along with a tv/movie viewing room. Our building is quite and everyone is friendly for the most part.
The only complaint I have is the a/c drain in the shower...thats right, if our a/c is on there is a drain in the ceiling that drains into the bathtub. This makes it sound like there is always someone urinating in the shower, and not only is that annoying but because of the calcium in the water it turns the bathtub a pee orange color. The only way to clean it is with a calcium cleaner and it needs to be scrubbed clean.
As for the noise and insulation...the insulation is GREAT, we have the a/c running all day and it is less than 30/month. I don't know about the paper walls as we have NEVER heard anything next door on either side...however the floors are paper thin. We can tell where they are at any given time because of this, and it isnt very nice when the people above you listen to music from 10pm to after 12am on a weekday.
Besides this...we have been happy here, I don't know about paying almost 1400 for a one bedroom one bath but it is nice in the first building.
