Way Overpriced and Loud

The appartments themselves arne't too bad. The washer and dryer in the apartment is really nice. But, the current rates are out of control. They simply aren't worth what they are asking for.
The apartments are not as nice as the ones they demo, no crown molding, etc.
The train is VERY loud if you are near the tracks. I live in the D building in front of the tracks and it is easily loud enough to drowd out the TV or wake you up. Its not the train, its the whistle, that blasts its horn through the intersection with total unnecessary regularity.
I got in at $1099 a month which was expensive but I thought it was worth it because everything was brandnew. Then they raised it to $1255 for the next year. Everyone raised their rates and I was too lazy to move so I stayed. Now they are raising it to $1355 even though rates for appartments have gone down this year and forclosure rates have more than trippled.
Unless you need to live right by the metro, I would stay away. If you work locally, there are nicer apartments for less money and no train.
