OK, but you'll pay too much for what you get

We loved our apartment at first, the beautiful landscaping and good amount of space, plus the W/D hookups in some units brings you in. Then you notice the thin walls, people leaving their garbage outside their doors and in walkways, bad parking situation, plumbing problems, and children running and playing in the parking lot, loud neighbors, leaky windows in the rain and crazy ant problems. We accepted most of it as apartment living, and because the rent was fair and the staff absolutely wonderful. Then they changed management, and it became unacceptable. Horrible, horrible new management, and our rent got jacked up - we have a 1 bedroom w/ a very small den, and I looked around and found 2 bedroom (or more) apartments in TO and Moorpark for more space and less money. It's not perfect, it's an apartment, but the price they are asking is way too much for what you get. We will be leaving when our lease is up. Oh, and if you are downstairs, I hope you enjoy hearing your upstairs neighbors being intimate. Beware of being downstairs if you have kids - you WILL hear this.
