I was so excited to move in this apartment. But when we actually did, it was a nightmare. First of all, while moving our furniture in, our truck got towed away. I asked Skyline mgmt about reimbursing me but nothing happened (this is lasting for more than a year). Let's see, we had rodent problems, pest problems and noise problems. Our first month alone, we killed 10 rats. (I have put in several complaints.) Also, three months after that, we noticed bed bugs on our new bed. After getting eaten up by these tiny mites, I finally had to get the place fumigated at my own expense. The noise, at times, is unbearable. Some lady will be yelling for her kid from a block away. For moving in, we were promised a gift (our choice of microwave---which was already in the unit, a dvd player, etc.) but we didn't get it til 10 months later. To top it off, for our lease anniversay, they have decided to increase our rent by $75 if we go on a month to month or $25 if we stay in for a year. Since I signed a year lease, there is nothing I could do but live here. So be careful, you don't want to go through my sorrow.
