Upsides to this complex:
Cheap (<1400 for a 3 bedroom), large floorplans, A/C, Good plumbing/drains, Close to the 94/125/8 freeways..

Downsides:
- Screaming kids all day long, especially during summer.
- Pool is unusable due to dozens of screaming kids peeing/etc in it.
- Occasional, but severe bug problems (ants, spiders)
- On-site laundry requires you to basically camp out and wait for a free machine like they're releasing a new iphone or star wars movie in there, since all 4 machines will usually be taken up at once by "Moms" who have 8 screaming kids worth of laundry.
- Lots of vandalism done to cars parked outside on the street (where you'll be parking, unless you only have one car for the reserved spot.) .. In the two years I was there, my girlfriend had her windows shot out, my truck was egged twice, and multiple cars had their windows vandalized and/or were broken into.
- On that same note, my friend and another resident had their cars stolen professionally (no broken glass, and the cars were parked under -street lamps- right in front of the complex.)
- Lots of domestic disturbances/violence.. 2 of my neighbors had extremely verbal arguments with the husband(') typically issuing death threats to the wife, and/or screaming at the kids. It's also not unusual to see police entering the complex to drag a drunk person who beat up their significant other out, with their hands/legs tied up.
- These apartments are SPARTAN.. imagine living in a completely white spackled apartment where the only wood grain is on the cabinets.. so any style is definitely "bring your own"
- Finally, a tip off that this place is pretty sub-par is that the manager changes literally every 3 months here and it's like russian roulette as to whether the new manager will be crazy, have a criminal boyfriend who vandalizes the cars, be half-way decent, or be a total alcoholic.. (I experienced all-of-the-above while there.)
