Living here is like living in an episode of COPS & management could care less

If you want to get your money's worth, do NOT move here. Management does nothing about belligerent and loud neighbors, no doubt because they don't live in close proximity and aren't awaken at all hours of the night by domestic disputes EVERY OTHER DAMNED DAY. In the period of 2 months, I've seen a neighbor have her purse snatched by her own son in front of tens of tenants, a pregnant woman beat and chased off the property by her tenant boyfriend and I even found a sack of weed on my porch. I DON'T SMOKE BUT DEALING WITH ALL THE NOISE AND COMMOTION MAKES ME WANT TO!!

You will deal with the following if you move here:
1) constant LOUD verbal and physical disputes.

2) screaming kids who rise BRIGHT AND EARLY to get their SCREAM ON and parents/management that don't give a crap about it.

3) constant visits by the Sheriff Dept to find some wifebeater or purse snatcher who has long fled the scene and comes back for more anarchy once the coast is clear.

4) Sparse laundry facilities that have to be locked up at a certain time to prevent theft.

5) Horrible landscaping (unless you live near the manager's apartment).
if I could afford it I would move NOW. I hope management reads this so something can be done about this place. these apartments used to be nice when management actually cared about tenants and who they rent to.

My complaints to management have now ceased as nothing is EVER done about it. I will say that the staff here is sympathetic and probably doesn't want to evict or issue written warnings because they understand "things" happen and there will be times when tenants have issues with their husbands, girlfriends, kids, parents, whatever. it would be nice if they gave the same consideration to quiet, hard working tenants who deserve better than this.

the rent payments they receive from these dregs of society takes precedence over any and everything else.

It looks nice from the outside, but once you're in' You will NO DOUBT believe you just rented a small, cramped space in the 3rd Ring of Hell.

Shame on you Casa Monterey!!!
