standard corporate apartment complex

My experience living here for several years has been mixed.

The positive -- roomy, washer/dryer included, plenty of parking. Built fairly well... audible noise is bass only (from the sides) or plenty of sound from above or below, but that's to be expected. If you're a light sleeper, or have small children, or for some reason need peace and quiet, your best bet is to ensure that your neighbors are nice people. Some noise is audible in any apartment complex, and if the neighbors are very loud, you will hear it. Cats are allowed, but not dogs, so you will not have to listen to barking.

The negative... expensive, especially for the location. Also, the apartment complex hires a towing company, which takes any opportunity to tow cars that are, say, double parked. It's pretty expensive to get your car back and costs you a day at work, and they do like taking your car if they can (gives them more money).

There is a lot of street noise, depending on the location. Units that are farther away from Sweetwater Springs Boulevard are better, with the reduced street noise and reduced high school football noise (there's a high school across the street).

A disproportionately high number of my neighbors smoke cigarettes. Fine for them, but with so much smoking in one small area, the grounds smell bad, not to mention the cigarette butts littering the area.

As with any corporate apartment complex, you should expect minimal service (some of the management are cool but they are a minority). You should also investigate the area with the available unit, make sure that your neighbors are pleasant and that there's no problem with the specific location of the unit in the apartment complex. Make sure you see the actual unit and not just the display unit.

Well, that's about it. It's pretty average. Not bad, not terrible either. If you need something in that specific area I'd recommend it, otherwise I'd suggest keep looking.
