Lived here from June 2001 to February 2003. Overall it was okay but we really hated the fact that none of these apartments have the hookups for a washer or dryer. On top of that the laundry facilities are not at all safe.. many items stolen from the room had to watch my clothes like a hawk. Gated community although they are broken almost every other day because no one owns a clicker to get in and people walk right up to the gates and yank them open. Also these apartments are older and not at all modern or remodeled. Mold has a tendency to grow very fast especially in the bathroom because of bad ventilation. No central air and heat. Old fashioned air conditioner that only cools the living room and leaves the bedroom scorching. The heater is just the same.. only gets one room warm and the other stays cold. Carpet is filthy.. cannot walk barefoot or your feet turn black. Overall not very asthetically pleasing. Ugly beige stucco. Also for what we paid- 675 we had no room in our one bedroom only 540 sq. feet. VERY SMALL. Much better and bigger apartments available on the west side of Hammer lane and March for the same price. These are just too pricey and so not worth it.
