when i found out i was moving to stockton, i was horrified by some of the apartments. this complex seemed like a nicer one and in a better neighborhood than the others i visited, but it still wasn't great. it's obvious the SUPER positive posts are from staff that are trying to make false statements about how great it is. don't get me wrong, it's an alright place, but i wouldn't beam about it. it's gated and close to the freeway- both great. the leasing facility is really cool and it also houses the nice pool and the fitness center. when we moved in they didn't give us a walkaround of our apartment, no instruction on how to use the bizarre heater and the weird a/c that is located really high so i have to stand on the couch to reach the knobs. they also didn't give us our mail key. and they didn't clean our carpets...i was walking around, and when i took a shower i was wondering why the water was black so i looked at the bottom of my feet....filthy! the person who said the cabinets in the kitch are old is right on the money. some of my cabinets are cracking and the wood is chipping all over the place. the heater and a/c only cool and heat the living room, and the bedroom doesn't get any of the change. the bathroom is made for tiny people. the door is a sliding door that hides in the wall because there isn't any room for one that swings open. you can't put a ceiling fan anywhere because there aren't any ceiling light fixtures, except above the 'dining area' which is too small to put a table. i'm not home much. if you wanna know about crime, call the police department and ask about the address... they are great about helping you...
