Fight back against getting screwed upon moveout

When I googled "Waterfield Square", I discovered that the company that owns Waterfield Square is involved in a class action lawsuit for gouging people when they move out.
I moved out of an even worse dive here in Mariners Drive (complete with 3 registered sex offenders in the complex) and was SUED in SUPERIOR Court for percieved "damages" that were not supported by receipts when I moved out. Why file a $200 lawsuit in Superior Court' Generates profit/lawyers fees. There is a great landlord-tenant handbook available from the department of consumer affairs which stipulates what they have to do upon tenant moveout and when they DO NOT follow it, the tenant does have rights regarding their deposit.
