Very, very noisy neighborhood. It fronts on Lauel Canyon with it 24/7 noisy, fast traffic. It's between a grade school and the post office. Can you say NOISY' Rent is going up way too fast for those of us who live here! Buildings are not maintained well. It's also a PET building and most pet owners don't seem to care about anyone else.
I'm female and often don't feel secure in the building/parking area at night.
Someone(s) is always moving in or moving out. Every week. It's a zoo. Plus it's a "hotel" for traveling nurses which makes for even more people moving in and out! It may be convenient to the area, but it's really not worth it. Add to that constant problems with the elevator and the rent seems too high.
To be fair, Jennifer in the Leasing Office is super! She always goes out of her way to assist the tenents. There's problems with the building/environment, but this is LA, not the best place. There are better apartments and there are worse, but you won't find a better Leasing Office.
All depends on what you're looking for in an apartment.
