watch out when you move out
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 12/30/2002
Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
I lived there from March 2000 to Dec 2002
If you have anyone living above you, then it is noisy. The only reason I lived here so long
was that it was real close to work and had reasonable rental rates(March 2000, the go-go days)
In August of 2002 I signed a 6 month lease
and had to leave a month early because I lost
my job. The manager accepted my 30 day notice
and Dorothy (poor old lady- she does not call the shots there) told me that I should be fine
as it was only one month and I have lived there for almost 3 years.
It so happened they wanted to get my money and since there was nothing they could do with deposit as I returned the apartment in
almost ready to move in condition the new fat manager decided to charge me for the reminder.
I agree with other posts that the Gym is nasty
and the laundry room is way out there.
Heck, I started doing laundry in my brother's house when I visited him on the weekends.
The floor plans were not that great and hence
required lighting even a bright summer day.
The only reason I lived there that long was because I used to live at work
and the apartment was well a bachelor pad :-)
Plus the studio was much bigger than the studios
I saw in the neightbourhood.
