I had been lived there for 2 years.
Apartment is too old and bad.
I had a really bad experience with them.

First week after I moved in, the sewer clogged.
Dirty water reversed from outside and soaked my
living room. I got no way to live there for 3 days.
Manager refuse to pay renting hotel cost.

1 year after I moved in, dirty water leaked from
bathroom ceiling twice in 2 weeks. They did fix that.
But I had to clean those dirty things by myself.

After I moved out that apartment, the manager wanted to
charge me for replacing whole carpet. She said it is too dirty
to be cleaned. I had to send some other cleaning company
to clean the carpet. The carpet is just fine.
They agreed not to charge me after I warned them to go to court.
But they refused to refund me the carpet cleaning fee.

The noise can penetrate the wall easily. Sometimes it is hard to
keep a quiet environment during the night.

My suggestion is
Do not rent!

Well, Hello Haidong, Funny, how come you staid here at the Apricot Pit for 2 years if you were not happy right from the beginning, I would say that you are maybe one of those people that wants everything but you do not actually follow the rules or whatever yourself... When you first moved in you had the problem with plugged sink few days after-true. Maybe because there was a back up in the line, or maybe because you did something yourself, because you were putting rice into drain..and what not, which is a big NO...NO... Problem happened, we did our best to solve it, the best we can anyway, and the faster we can because everything that got wet has to dry so needs time, but you were definitely able to use the apartment. Also you were not even at home you went camping or so if you remember you told me that yourself, well some people can't live if they do not make somebody feel bad or if they do not make problems as you did made big deal of everything. Anyway, you did not say also that we did cut your rent the following month, you paid less rent because of the problem. So we did something even if we did not have to, well you could use apartment, and, problems happens everywhere - old or new building. Well let me tell you most of the buildings out there are old and things happen, but there are also new buildings out there and also things happen- same or close to same. Depend on a lot of things, maybe depend of how people take care of the things,or maybe something else...just maybe...You should have maybe rent apartment in brand new building and pay maybe $1500 or $1600 or so for 1 bedroom and maybe you would be more happy if that would make you happy, that is a question. You also did not say that we should have charge you for the stove because you destroyed it, but I said to my general manager not to charge you because I wanted to try and paint the stove and save you some money. I should have just charge you and make easier on myself, you complained anyway. Well some people are just like that the honesty is not part of the story and whatever I do - can't help. Well you left apartment in terrible condition...if you want I can show your pictures and remind you how bad it was... Well we do take care of our tenant the best possible way we can and believe me we did not charge anybody that took care of their apartment,I personally gave back a lot full deposits back, or even if they were charged they were charged only minimum based on the cleaning policy that every tenant sign when move in.......long story..... The point is some people are just never happy..and believe me if I was going to charge you you would have pay much more. OO and about the carpet, we do not pay for something it was your choice to do, we paid once by the cleaning policy, did not work out for us...you pay if you think you can do better, and maybe it look better after the second wash at once but we are still not happy with the carpet, the carpet is destroyed, we will have to replace it soon, there were to many stains and spills it started to come back and let me tell you, you got new carpet... I personally have carpet more then 5 years old and it look much better then yours. We should have charge you for carpet as well, but you know what it is not worth the trouble sometimes.....well long story again.. Senada Apricot Pit Apartments Manager
