Yeah sure, it is a bit pricy, I share a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment here and we pay a total of $1690.00 a month looking over 101. Coming straight out of school and starting a new job in the "real world" I thought that this price was way too much.
However; after being here for about 2 months now I think it is worth every dollar.
The managenment has been great to us and bad to my friends, it just depends who your agent is. I would ask for Hope if I was you, very helpful, very friendly, and understanding.
PROS: wonderful 2 pools - 24 hour spa (steam room/sauna)- anything breaks it will be fixed in 24 hours - nice location - friendly people in complex - new/nice/clean units - air conditioning ($60 a month at 74 degrees)-thick walls to block noise from 101, never hear nieghbors
CONS: only one reserved spot per unit, parking can be hard after 6pm - gym is weak - pool closed at 10pm (even though a lot of fun people are there and would stay longer if could) - some leasing agents depending on who you get - $75 late fee if one day late on rent - $25 if locked out after one time
Suggestions: ask for a place that has been empty for awhile, lower rent - do not try to negotiate prices, they can?t - ask for leasing agent Hope - do not go to on site dry cleaner, over priced - go to the hot tub/pool after 9pm and relax, have a drink, have fun and meet some good people.
