Honestly I don't understand the bad reviews on Avalon Silicon Valley. I have lived in numerous apartment communities and this one is the first place that I could relax and not worry about anything. I am only leaving due to me going back to B-school. Otherwise I would stay.

I have lived here for almost two years and have loved the experience. The units are modern and clean. My friends actually plan events at my apartment because its such a nice apartment community

The staff, despite what some of the other reviewers have said, is great. I have always been treated well and with respect.

True there have been a few break-ins but I don't think its to the degree that you should not live here. (its all relative)

Lastly, you get what you pay for. Yes its a little pricey and I wish I didn't have to pay it, but I can attest that I have been worry free since I lived here and actually enjoy coming home. You drop in price, you drop the good location and quality. I highly recommend Avalon Silicon Valley.
