If you can afford this, instead, buy a real home

Lived in this complex when it first opened. Nice but overpriced. When we moved out they charged for tiny holes in the walls to hang our pictures. They never did make the pool warm enough to use in the winter. Too bad.
We bought a house in the Los Gatos mountains because they kept raising the rent to the amount of a house payment. We're still in our own home What a difference now! You could own your own place in Boulder Creek for the cost of living here and have a life. Interest rates are stil at or near record lows. This place is a dead zone of concrete - rare to see a bird here. And ultra hot. If you move to the Santa Cruz mountains you can get to the ocean in less than half an hour. Takes only a week or two to get used to driving on 17 - well worth it.
