Loving it for the past 2-years

I lived in this complex for a little over 2 years and loved every bit of it. It is amazingly kept, has large beautiful pool, a Jacuzzi, and a nice cabana. The maintenance staff is unbelievably responsive. You report a problem and it's fixed by the time you get home... no questions asked. The sound proofing is excellent. In my 2 year here, I never hear any of my neighbors... not a peep. The apartments are spacious and great floor plans. I have the "J" Plan on the top floor with a fireplace and it faces south. That means I get sunlight from sunrise to sunset and can put on a log at night. I couldn?t ask for more. The only drawbacks are the petty crime. My car has been broken into, no physical damage to the car, and all my stuff stolen. That was only because I left everything in the open (GPS, Radar Detector, ...) and it was a little too tempting for someone and an expensive lesson learned for me. But the complex responded very positively. I've seen the private patrol double in the last few months. Plus, my motorbike that has been parked in front of my car, hasn?t been touched (I hope I didn?t jinks it). The only other negative beyond all the positives that I listed and didn?t is, and the primary reason why I have to move, is that you will be allow to stay in your apartment until you cannot afford it anymore. Apparently the standard practice here to increase your rent every time it's time to renew you lease even though new comers get the special deals... which means, in some cases, once you move out... they get a better deal on your place. Makes sense'''' I don?t think so! What?s the deal Avalon''' I'm moving on because this place has become too expensive for me as a result (my rent increased every time my lease was up and was about to increase yet again). But I love this place and I'm sorry to leave. Well, I'm moving out in a few days but I though I would share my 2-cents with the rest of you. If you can get past the standard rent increases and make sure you don?t leave anything of value visible in your car? you might love this place as I have from the moment I saw it.
