I've learned that everytime I deal with the management, I need to keep written records. They denied receiving notice to fix the air conditioner, clogged sink, and to fix carpet coming up around my door way. They lost my 30 day notice to cancel my lease and charged me over $400 because I was unable to prove that I had provided them the notice.

I'm now headed down the path of trying to retrieve my security deposit. They told me that the apartment needs to be professionally cleaned, the carpets professionally shampooed, and the walls professionally repainted at a total cost of $210 for a 1 bedroom apartment. They work that I did to clean my apartment would not be concidered unless I can provide a reciept showing that it was done by professionals.

Avalon conciders this property "a luxury complex". Somehow this is achieved through arrogance and incompetance. It is a beautiful complex. The only complaint that I have centers around the management. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
