I lived at this complex for over 4 years so to say the least, I saw it all there. Here is my take on what I saw:

BAD:
-Security is a joke. Frequent car & home break-ins and thefts are very common. My motorcycle was messed with on 3 separate occasions. A porsche in the same garage as me had his headlights stolen, TWICE! The Sunnyvale police department know all about this place, just call and ask them as they get called there very frequently. They mention a security patrol but it's only there for a week or so after a bad rash of break-ins. After that, good luck seeing them.

-Rent at the complex is quite a bit higher than the surrounding area, I paid it for 4 years till they wanted to raise my rent by almost 10%.

-Maintenance can be said to be spotty at best. I complained for THREE years about a gate on the property that wouldn't let my motorcycle out because it wouldn't detect it. All of the other gates had no problem except for this one. When I mentioned this to them, the maintenance staff got very rude and condescending on the phone. Even after the gate started closing on me and almost took my head off on two separate occasions they refused to repair the gate.

-Drains at this place are marginal at best. For a complex that's this new you wouldn't expect these kinds of problems. Our toilets & sinks frequently clogged and overflowed. We had to buy draino in Costco in bulk just so I could flush the damn toilet.

-Noise at the place can be pretty bad. If it's not 101 it's lawrence. If it's not lawrence it's the hotel across the street being torn down and a new complex being built. It's not the place to live at if you work 3rd shift.

-Elevators at the place are frequently broken, at LEAST once a week they are broke it seems.

-Management at this place came across as uncaring and almost downright hostile. They had the audacity to pin the BLAME for the break-ins on the people who's cars were broken into! They came across like it was their fault it happened. This wasn't always the case as the previous management team was very nice and actually seemed like they cared. This was one of the big reasons we left.

GOOD:
-The gym is very nice, large and well equipped when the machines are working. The treadmills break pretty frequently. It is open 24 hours which is very nice but they lock access to the bathroom/sauna after hours which makes no sense.

-Landscaping is pretty nice with an abundance of private green space and grills.

-The little store in the front is pretty handy albeit a little pricey. It's handy for running down and grabbing some sodas, beer or other stuff you need but don't feel like driving to go get.

-As was mentioned, some of the female staff do dress a bit provocatively. I'm not complaining about that as I really enjoyed the view :p.
