Dear all,
I am taking the pleasure of writing about this crapy place for the following straight to the point reasons:
1- The complex has done a study and found that they are lacking about 90 parking spots. If you ask them specifically that question, they will concur. So if you have more than one car, be prepared to use the Bus!!! Please no guests with cars allowed, only roller blader guests are welcome!
2- They changed their lease on me one month after I moved in. Apparently, there is a clause in the contract that I didn't know about that allowed them to charge me extra fees for parking and trash. I signed a 13 month lease.
3- Forget your deposit. I had a small scratch (about half an inch) in the kitchen floor that the management claimed they will be replacing which they took out of the deposit.
4- Drive around the complex. In the back there are high voltage power lines. Those are believed to cause cancer.
5- Sell your alarm and rely on the wall to wall fire station that bugs the hell out of the community on hourly basis, even early hours in the morning.
6- The landscaping is so full of buildings. That is why parking is hard and the scene is ugly.
Please be wise and do not rent over there. If you wish, concur with the management and ask targetted questions such as:
1- How many parking spots are you lacking
2- Am I going to be charged hidden fees and can you change the lease terms even though I have one year contract such as trash or use of facilities.
3- Drive around and observe the power lines.
4- Walk around and observe the limited landscaping and the number of buildings around the complex.

Who ever you are-you just so eloquently put my thoughts into writing. I moved in a month ago,I was never told about the parking fees, we were promised a quiet unit per our request, so now we are right next to the fire station wall, the management is so sweet and kind when they want you to move in, esp.. the property manager who I believe has no issues about flat out lying to prospective tenants, just to get them to move in. I am also stuck in a lease, so if you are thinking of moving here don't!!!! Oh-if you ask the manager about this site or the reviews she will tell you that this is just a hand full of tenants doing this, but so not true, I took an informal survey of our neighbors and guess what, they feel the same way, so I highly suggest that you speak to tenants who are trapped in their lease agreements and see how they really feel about living in this money hungry complex!!! Tenants do have rights and large corporations need to understand that they cannot gouge renters, if you live at the Parkside I suggest your write their corporate offices:

I am sorry. I can not believe what I am hearing. Hidden fees? Do you people ever stop and read what you sign your name on? There is a little thing called a lease. Everything you need to know is right inside of it. If a company tries to change any part of a legal document, it opens them up to a law suit. Have either of you people sought legal counsling? Maybe you should seek therapy instead. I asked a million questions before I moved here and have not found anything false about what the manager told me. She was very honest(nothing has shown her to be otherwise)and as far as the firestation. I keep seeing this come up on the reviews. Do you people not see the thing sitting right next to the community? Power lines, how do you think you get electricity? I think before you start talking about what causes cancer or health issues, look into it yourself and research the likley hood of getting cancer from power lines. And if you do not want to be in the lease, you have 30 days after move-in to get out of your lease. No penalties! Why did you not use this option? You are so un-happy in your 1st month, you could have used it. As far as this site goes, I think it is just full of people who most likly damaged something in their apartment and were expected to pay to fix it. You break it, you should have to pay for it. I happen to speak with alot of the people who live here and have not heard any of them say anything negative about the place they chose to call home. I have lived here for a while and so have many, many of my neighbors. That shows that people continue to stay for a reason. Your opinions do not reflect the majority of the residents who live here, so please do not speak for the rest of us who happen to love this place. By the way, my apartment sits facing the same fence you are talking about, and I never had a knock on my door with anyone asking my opinion of this place or the staff. Stop pointing fingers and calling other people liars. You are the one full of crap. I hope you move out soon. It makes me sick to think I have such negative and not to mention dumb neighbors. You picked the place pal, no one forced you to move here. Deal with it and seek some anger management. When your lease is up, find me, I will help you move. Find you happy place and stop slandering others.
