I'm not too impressed with the new management company thus far. This past weekend, there was noisy construction Saturday and Sunday (in violation of Sunnyvale's noise ordinance). They also feel our rent is below market which is a joke! $1075 for a 1 bedroom...is that below market' Let me add that cars are being broken into on a regular basis.

I have lived here over 9 years and had always loved my apartment, but lately it feels like we have been invaded by a corporation. Gone is the homey atmosphere Ann had worked so hard to create. Ann who had worked here 13 years was given a 2-day notice that she was being replaced.

I'm sure there are better places to rent that are much safer for your car and much more affordable.

Update 9/3: In the 3 weeks since the new management company took over they have taken away all the (few) amenities the complex had. They have stripped the land-cutting down all mature trees. Two days in a row they shut off the water without warning claiming it was an emergency. They have given the few covered parking spaces to construction workers whose cars are just parked there (even though these people pay no rent and long term people have been waiting for covered parking). The trucks for the construction crews take a good percentage of off street parking. And the attitude you get when you complain about any of these things is pretty much that they really don't care.

Seriously folks, do not even think about renting here. They are treating long term people like dirt. They don't care about you or your needs. I am going to be moving soon, I'm just looking for the right place. Oh, and now I've seen cockroaches running around by the pool so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they invade the apartments.
