Expensive place to live

The only reason why I would live here is because I have a lot of friends that moved here with me. I got married and moved away.
This place is very expensive for what you get.
Parking is very hard to find, and beware -- don't park in one of the "open" slots, because that was assigned to someone! No wonder, because people have to find roommates to share the cost of this abhorredly expensive place.
Our rent went from $2100 back in '06, to $2495 this year. Economy up' Rent goes up. Economy down' Rent goes up.
Walls are paper thin. My roommate likes to play the guitar. He sounds good sometimes. However, he doesn't sound so hot when it's midnight, and I want to get some sleep. You can hear him from the next apartment over. Which explains the complaints. You can also hear the noisy gardeners with their air blowers as if they were standing next to you, screaming in your ears.
When I got here in '06, the pool was heated. In recent years, it's never heated. Great for the summer, because you get a frigid pool.
I actually lived in 2 apartments. They redid the carpets for us, but it's cheap carpet. We broke 2 vacuum cleaners because the carpet fuzz jammed the vacuum. And why does my fruit always grow mold in the refrigerator within a few days' So annoying.
On the positive side, this place is close to the freeway, and the grounds are nice. Except for the gardeners, who always flood leaves onto our patio with their noisy air guns. I liked the office manager though. She was nice.
As for safety -- my roommates have experienced smashed windows. 3x. I even saw a guy prowling around our car. The security officer almost caught him. Don't leave any valuables in sight if you live here.
Don't even get me started on the rusty pipes. Don't drink water out of the faucet here! And dont' think about storing stuff in your carport, unless they're waterproof. Your toilet may leak from time to time as well.

Oh come on, you only live where your friends live? If you want sound proof walls then never moved into any apartment; buy a house! You need to get a life buddy!
