It's a total nightmare, and we are not moving out only because rents are fairly cheap there, and we can't really afford to pay more at this time. But gee, we will, and I am thinking, soon.

It's filthy, noisy, maintenance is awful (a stairway right next to our unit gave way 2 weeks ago, nothing's being done about it). Most tenants are Hispanic and don't work. I'm pretty sure we have a gang hanging out in the yard at night - freaks me out, I'm afraid to go out after dark. Laundry rooms are absolutely disgusting. Tons of kids making a lot of noise. Parking lot is awful - litter all over the place. Someone once stole a can of gas from my husband's truck - it's a crime-ridden, uncivilized community, all you ever hear during the day is that freakin' Spanish music and Spanish language. I sometimes have to remind myself that I'm still in America...
