Lots of little annoyances

This place could be nice, but there a lot of little things that add up to a big thumbs down:
- Highly overpriced ($1700 for a 1 bed' puh-leeze)
- Very close to the freeway, so there is constant background noise. I can't sleep with my bedroom window open, unless I really need to be woken up at 5:30 by the freeway.
- Very thin walls, I can hear the floor creak as my neighbor walks through his unit
- There is little or no insulation, my unit gets horribly cold in winter
- If you live on the west side, near the creek, prepare to deal with lots of insects
- Bathroom fans are incredibly loud. The thin walls mean you can hear the fan in the downstairs unit too. When a new person moves in below me, I have to ask them not to use his fan too early or it will wake me up.
There are some positives, just not enough to overcome the negatives:
- I've never had a trouble getting a repair done. The two management staff have always been friendly.
- Safe neighborhood
- Very nice laundry facilities
- Pool and gym look in good shape (never used them myself though)

I totally agree. The thin walls are awful. After 5 years living there (only stayed due to my kids because of school district is very good). In all my 30 years of living an apts, these are definitely the absolute worse!!!
