I moved in in 2002, but management was soon changed afterward. I hear management changes often in this place.

The place went downhill after the manager was changed. It took months for him to fix anything. None of the public areas were cleaned sufficiently. Half of the exercise equipment was broken, and there was a pile of dead bugs in the corner of the tiny room that I would be willing to bet are still there.

The pool wasn't ever heated enough to make it an enjoyable experience.

My stove was from the 70's, and I had no dishwasher. I paid $800 for a studio that was no bigger than a two-car garage (less than 400 sq ft. The water pressure was terrible.

It took at least 3 months for the manager to fix anything. I'm friends with current tenants and they had a broken lock on their door that took four months to fix. Anyone could have walked in and stolen from their home!

I knew of another tenant who had her car broken into twice in two months!

The type of tenants allowed to move in became less amiable and of a lower class than had previously inhabited the area. People were constantly blasting their music with the windows and doors open.

We had neighbors who smoked, and somehow their smoke would travel through to our apartment from our bathroom, right next to our bed. Disgusting! The manager never even attempted to do anything about this.

We finally got out of that place at the beginning of October '03.

I JUST got my deposit refund.

The apartment owner just changed managers, but somehow I don't expect anything to change at all. Apparently she doesn't know how to hire a good, respectable employee. She must not be paying them enough, and I know she charges her tenants WAY too much for what they get.
