Just thought I would clarify a few things for everyone who visits this site. First of all, I am the manager, just so there is no confusion as to who is writing this.

Secondly, neither myself nor my assistant have written any of the previous reviews you have read on here. I am under no circumstances trying to create a positive review in order to boost ratings on the internet. I think this is a great website for residents to review the community that they live in, or have recently lived in, and to possibly assist future residents in locating their new home. However, it is the readers responsibility to realize that these are people's opinions and may or may not be statements based on actual facts.

That being said, I will continue to provide excellent service to our residents as I have over the past several years. I would like to invite anyone who has an issue with management to please contact us directly. Those of you who currently live here are already aware that I gladly welcome any comments or suggestions that may help us improve the property for everyone.

I would like to also lay to rest the statement that there is a possible conflict of interest between myself and my assistant. This is a false statement, for lack of better wording. In fact, it is quite the opposite situation. We are working together diligently and tirelessly to improve the property physically, as well as the overall living environment for our wonderful residents. Having a well established relationship between myself and all of my co-workers is something I have always taken great pride in, and 2007 looks very bright for all of us involved with the property!

Happy New Year everyone, and happy apartment hunting!

I think this was a very well thought out and nice reply to some otherwise nasty remarks. I too am a manager who watches these reviews closely, and I'd just like to say..."good for you!"

Way to close ranks- I was just doing as I was told- sound familiar?!?Where I come from there is such a thing as community, brotherhood, sense-of-duty to one another in our actions, apparently California is the state of : Litigiousness, unaccountability and personal umbrage- if you don't like what someone says about your behaviour it's slander or libel if you post it on a website designed to encourage and utilize feedback from tenants past or present and instead becomes a forum for those who consider themselves above the level of a mere rent-paying wretch to take offense and rebutte and refute claims instead of taking a close look at what behaviours prompt the comments or opinions. Character assasination is wrong. The truth is that when one comment disparages a situation or person several more of the same tend to add validity not decrease it's likelyhood! California courts convict not on the facts but on a preponderance of the evidence-overwhelming testimony that some thing is rotten in Denmark! If people stop making these comments or complaints over time then the problems were resolved or never were valid- when more, newer comments come in that all follow a common thread-a pattern of behaviour for instance-then fact must be assumed if not proven! You are a manager-do you reside where you manage? do you deal w/ your tenants on a daily basis? Are you visible to the apt. community on your personal, leisure time and interject or involve yourself w/ tenants as the mgmt. team indeed does at this particular complex? could you pass the appropriate behaviour test within the context of allowing your working/professional standing w/ a co-mgr. to intersect w/ the personal relationship that you have w/ said same partner as occurs here? work and play old chap, work and play as they say! or to quote a more recent philosopher " they make the weather & then stand outside and say: damn! it's raining!' I suggest old-fashioned, common-sense: periodic evaluation, peer-review, community oversight and continuing education/training/re-training- some skills needed for day-to-day interaction are lost due to disuse- thanks internet and cubicles!! one must practice behaviours to perfect them-times have changed, yesterdays tough and savvy is todays discriminative and liable! It just takes one comment to bring down a whole lifetime or career of work-it can change...just..like...that! watch what you say-some have more to lose than others! Titles, positions, bonuses and perks ( I.E. incentives/kickbacks et al.) think about it...first!
