My OPINION and my girlfriends is as follows:
The manager I can t really speak on and his brother the Apartment Police is another story. My girlfriend left her keys in the laundry room, and Mr. Police took it upon himself to search the carports and streets to find out what car the remote on the key chain belonged to. Then instead of putting a note in laundry room about the lost keys, he put a note on the car demanding proof of residence and proof that we owned the car. Lol what right does he have with a car or let alone one parked on the street not even on his property' After he said I couldn t have them back till I show proof, I grabbed my keys and he tried to grab them back and then tried to get me for assault. It s my property and he tried to get me arrested. By the way her keyless remote hasn t worked since. Besides all that and my truck being broke into, and ransacked (which nobody happened to hear) I noticed someone stealing jumbo size bottles of hand cleaner from the bed of my truck, who steals hand cleaner''' Then the one day I left a box of tools in the bed, it was gone the next morning. So I set up an alarm trigger under some tools in the bed of my truck and the next morning, bam! Guess who' One of the grounds crew guys. I saw him fleeing away with my own eye s and I filed a police report to make it official, but I decided not to press charges to see if it happens again . but ever since I confronted the crew, nothing has been touched in the bed of my truck hmmmm, go figure .. The dude walks around with a garbage bag, and would put the light stuff into it as he picks up garbage around the car ports. That s why he never took the heavy stuff out of my truck, His plastic bag woulda ripped.
So, besides all the theft, the parking sucks, the rent increase sucks. I have yet to see the manager on the property, my parents were property managers for 25 years and I m pretty sure they walk the property once in a while. Hence the title property manager, then he would notice the piles of leaves that the grounds crew never picks up or the bricks that hold up the cheaply installed A/C units etc.
There are way better deals out there, don t waste time leasing with them, I got a 2 bedroom for the same price and the carport is at the same building I live in instead of one down the way where I can t hear my alarm. If you decide to respond make it a good one, Make sure its not slander like the email you sent my girlfriend about someone saying I m a dangerous person and it might be a problem to get me on the lease. Cause I don t think corporate office would approve. But it s your call. Have a nice day.
