A very nice place

This place was a pretty nice place to live at.
The neighborhood is nice. I can go outside and walk to Safeway or the post office without feeling scared of getting jumped. It's a family neighborhood (good or bad depending on your opinions about kids)
I never used the amenities--no fitness area (it's so tiny, though) and not the swimming pool or jacuzzi (too many dead skin cells floating in there cause it's a frequented place during the summer; though i've seen the cleaning pool guy come in the morning at 8am to clean the pool once a week or more' i dont know).
The apartment is in new or like new condition, which is nice. Management takes care of your problems. For example, my roof leaked from the winter rain season (i've been told the roofs are flat, so it's prone to leaking during the rainy season) and even though it took a few days and visits in between, it got fixed.
One of the bad things about this place, though, is the high noise level near the swimming pool. The adult neighbors are usually pretty good enough to keep their noise level down (or this place has a bit thicker insulation from noises'). Sometimes, you have to knock on the door of your neighbor and then learn that it's some kid left home alone playing the tv/video game/music very loud.
But, during the summer, it gets sooooooo loud and noisy at the swimming pool area. I live close it it, so I have to deal with this noise problem. A lot of kids/teens/etc come and they shout, yell, talk loud--it's annoying. Also, might I add, neighboring kids (i.e. kids who live elsewhere AND their parents) come to the swimming pool here because it's the only one here--so the security to the swimming area is very lax. I've seen a kid climb over the wooden fence and over cars to go to the swimming area, once. And I've seen parents who walk out with their kids with towels around them, to their car parked on the streets or in the free parking in this complex. But when it starts to get cold, no one uses the swimming pool and then it's nice and quiet.
So the summer swimming pool ordeal is a big minus to living here.
