nice, well managed

I have spent a year and a half there 2002-2003. The prices were not expensive for Sunnyvale maybe due to down economy.

I also aggree with most of the things the other 'anonymous' reviewer said.

Pros:

Nice and small complex. Grounds are well cared and you will love the flowers and greens all year long. It gives a cozy feeling.

Casa Monterey neighbors are very nice some of them living there for 15-20 years.

As the other reviwer also expressed, apartments are very cool during summer months and no a/c needed, though each apartment has one.

Huge patios.

Laundry prices are cheap $.75 wash, $.25/15 min dry.

As vacated the apt in a well condition and I got all my deposit back which is quite unusual for a mangement to give it back in full.

There is a samll pool on site and you get covered parking

Management very responsive to service needs.

Heating was gas heaters with inexpensive utility bill since they were non-electric.

Cons: The down floors are a bit dark because of the greens. But it makes the paratments cool even at hot weather.

The apartments are not new but renovated recently i guess just before my time.
