NEGATIVE:
I lived there for over a year or so and I have to admit the studio I lived in was very dark and the window faced the incoming stairs and the next door neighbors entrance so you pretty much have to close the blinds all the time inorder to get some privacy from your neighbors. The studio itself was pretty small with a very small itty bitty kitchen right in the middle of the room. The refridgerator is a miniture ones where you don't have enough room to store but a single frozen dinner. The worst part is that the fridge doesn't have auto defreez so by couple months went by the entire freezer section was filled with solid ice. The bathroom doesn't have any ventilation so you end up with mildew all over the ceiling within couple of months. The walls and ceiling are very thin, you can hear people walking upstairs and even snoring from next door. They also have very cheat carpet compared to other similar priced apartments.
The laudry machines (dryer) tored up several of my cotton shirts from the dryer. I went to the manger and she didn't do anything about it but to say call the laundry company.
POSITIVE:
Location, location and location! You can't beat the location. It was nice living in that area to be able to just hop on bus or just drive to nearby coffee shop. Walking distance to Safeway store and restaurants. Also, I like the available hose for car wash area. Other than that I can't think of more reasons to live here. So would I recommend living here. Well if you're hard up for location and free car wash area then do so, otherwise find some place else nicer.
