Nice enough place to live

I moved into the Cascades a little over a year ago. For the most part, I have been pleased. I am in a Below Market Rate unit, so my apartment faces out to El Camino Real, which can get a little loud sometimes. I haven't experienced any problems with the laundry room and actually appreciate it because the machines have digital timers so you know how much time is left in the cycle. My main complaint would be that the water bill is charged based on allocation rather than meter. This means that if you're like me and a resident of a 2BR unit with a child, you're paying the same for your water as a family of five living in the same size unit. Second to that, there is a new member of the management who seems sort of harsh. Other than that, the ladies that have handled the management have been really nice. I just wish they had late hours one night during the week so that you can pick up your packages and such.
In sum, this is a good location in terms of grocery stores and restaurants. The apartments are spacious enough (although the bedrooms are small). I recommend it.
