Beware.. this place infested with rats. It snaps cables, phone connection. Management keeps blaming on residents and do nothing to fix it. They don't let Comcast either because AT&T(DSL) and some stupid cable company are bribing the management. Residents are planning to file a law suit against the management.

Did not know about rats, but can confirm that cables and DSL's in Cascades is pure nightmare. The only high-speed alternative is AT&T DSL. If you opt out for other carriers like Speaeasy for instance, you may be suprised by being disconnected every 6 months. Why you will ask? Because AT&T/SBC maintainance guys are auditing cables in cable box every 6 months and they cut non AT&T cables by default with no questions ask. So you may end up paying $200 to AT&T or your independant carrier for plugging cable back. Also, AT&T redback concentrator in their CO is flooded with traffic every day after 8pm. I suspect it happens because every single apartment in Cascades is using AT&T service. So expect big lag, packet loss and I doubt you'll be able to fix it. I've wasted 2 months trying to get this problem diagnosed. AT&T DSL service guys work till 7pm and they're unable to diagnose anything that happens after 7pm. :)

Just wanted to confirm, that DSL is practically dead at Cascades in peak evening hours. No wonder, since entire building is using the same link. Forget about playing computer games on-line.
