I'm living here, and I red all of the review about this apartment on this site.
but some of problems indicated from the reviews are not understandable for me.
First of all, This apartment is not noisy 24h a day.
I agree that Kid's noise is more than other apartment, but I can't say it's acceptable level if you like kids.(I like kids and I'm a single)
Noise caused by facing El Camino is almost nothing. Almost rooms are far from the road.
And I don't think it's not worth the price.
I was very embarassed with finding apartment in Sunnyvale.
All the rental prices of apartment in Sunnyvale had been raised, and I had a hard time to find an adaquate apartment with my budget.
I still believe that the rental price of this apartment is little bit cheaper than other apartments having similar quality.
This apartment makes me feel comfortable, and provide easy access to main street.
That's why I like this apartment.

You like it because 1) you live in apartment facing El Camino where noise from playground is not that loud and don't care about the view and road noise (good for you), 2) you've lived there for short time and never seen how it was living there 5-6 years ago (much better than now), 3) you probably got good neighbours (plain luck). I could not even remember how many neihgbours I had total. Probably around 30-40. People next door were changing each 6 months or even quicker. In the building across my apartment where my bedroom windows facing new asian family just moved in. They had about 10 people living in 2br. Couple elders liked to speak on the cell with mainland China each night under my windows. Young dude from the same family liked to chat with his gf on cell for hours, sometimes kicking the wall of the building with his leg... I had to warn him twice. Next weekend we had an Indian party that decided to bounce a soccer ball against the same wall around 1am. Actually they started doing that earlier against wall where current manager Lorina lives. Hehe. That was something. She gave them a hard time. Do you think it helped much? No! They moved to vicinity of my apartment and continued doing the same thing - bouncing ball against the wall. That's whay 24h noise is. Good luck buddy. :) You will need it at Cascades. I agree, apartments in Sunnyvale are terrible and overpriced.

All you are talking about (responder) is how you don't like the other tenants. That doesn't mean the apartment complex is bad, it means you get annoyed easily.

I love other tenants as long as they don't wake me up in the middle of the night... I'm not easily annoyed. Friends call me "Mr Calm". Just FYI. Are you in the management or one of those dudes whose kids are unleashed and unattendant most of the time in the playground? I guess you're either of them.
