okay, place - a bit pricey for what you get. Weird management.

I lived in the Cascades for 5 yrs.
Well, the first month I was there - a woman screaming @ the top of her lungs woke me up @ 430am in the morning. I called 911.
The following day - the indian couple living right below her, screamed and the couple moved out.
What a start. Overall, the cascades is in a very convenient location - El Camino & Wolfe. Very close to safeway, ortega park is close.
The complex is nothing special - fairly stard apartment living, built in the '80s.
All the residents are assigned a parking place in a locked, underground parking lot - its fairly safe.
The rental manager Loreana is weird. A heavy set woman, who's very nosey - I caught her several times going through tenant records without just cause. Furthermore, the hispanic maintanence staff is sufficient, but I also saw them on several occasions digging throug the trash. During my stay there they once had an apt. mgr. who was normal, and on the ball named Sunny. She transferred out of there within a few months... :-)
Turn over rate is fairly high.
All in all - its an average place to live.

Lorena is no longer working there. Vishally is fair and honest.
I think the smaller one bedrooms and studios are a much better deal.

I didn't get my deposit back - after cleaning fees usual wear and tear after 5yrs.. But I expected it - NBD.
The Indian girl is a good leasing agent.
Btw, I think Sunny87 is the same Sunny I commented on in my original review. The girl from down south originally (Diamond Bar), SJSU graduate. She's great - I think she's managing the Legacy's S. San Jose property. :)
