This place was okay for the price when I moved
in during the height of the Internet bubble (1999).
I paid $1760 for a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment.
Since the internet bubble bust, the current
price of the apartments are $1550. I am on
a month to month lease, and the apartment managers
refused to reduce the price to current prices.
Therefore, I moved to more afforable housing.

The apartment complex itself is very old. The
maintence is very unresponsive. I've have had
to constantly put in work requests for broken
things around the apartment, and it'll take about
1-2 months for them to come around to it. It
took them 6 months to get around to fixing the
broken storage locker from when I moved in.
I would say about 2 things out of 15 things
were fixed by them. Everything else I had to
fix myself (ie. leaky faucets, toilet doesn't
flush, broken wall face plate, broken screen
door, etc.)


The current apartment manager, Alicia, is
fairly nice, but sorely incompetent. Everything
mildly complex (ie. questions about when things
are going to be fixed, questions about the lease,
reducing the lease, etc.) is referred to the
property manager, or answered with a 'I don't
know'.

The walls are paper thin, and so are the doors.
In fact, the front door is just as thin as the
bedroom doors. All the doors are hollow. You
could probably break down the front door with
an elbow thrust.

The prices on the public washers and dryers is
highway robbery. They charge $1.50 for one load
for wash, and $1.00 for one load for the dryer.

Another thing I noticed is that the apartments
are incredibly dusty. I vaccuum and clean regularly
(about once every 2 weeks), and everything is
always covered with a sheet of dust. I mentioned
this to the apartment people (and even asked for
air filters), but obviously, nothing was done.
