This complex is definitely what you'd expect from being 15-20 years old - tan carpet, brown color theme, no bells and whistles,etc. But I'll have to admit, I really like this place! The apartment is simple and clean and the neighbors are considerate. There is noise though, that is, if you consider the laughter of small children and chirping birds annoying. I don't.

Myriam, the manager, is great. She takes all suggestions into consideration and is extremely professional. The environment is pleasant because she helps make it that way.

As far as amenities, we get 2 assigned parking spots, a small but comfortable gym, and the convenience of being close to grocery stores, shopping and freeway access. The only complaint I have is the laundry room. The dryers are fine but the commercial-size washers' water level is too low. They're all like this and you end up washing two loads from 1 standard laundry basket pile of clothes. What's up with that'!

Overall, I like living at EG. The 2 bdrm./1 ba. apartments at $1,370.00 are reasonable.
If you're looking for high tech, latest and greatest apartment living, look elsewhere. This place is for the simple and practical.
