Don't go there

Do not be fooled by its pretty landscaping right around the leasing office. The apartment complexes are very old and have several problems.
As some of other reviewers have already mentioned, the place has a serious noise problem, mostly with noise from your neighbors (I could hear the guy next door take a leak in the bathroom when I was in the living room in my deluxe 1-bedroom). The top floor units come with ACs but they're ancient and very loud so it?fs impossible to go to sleep with your AC on. The rent is on the higher side and rooms are small, although the kitchen is pretty decent in appliances and size.
My room smelled funny, and it got worse when it rained.
Repair service is pretty horrible. A toilet tank broke in my friend?fs unit and there was water leaking all over the place, but the maintenance people told him to wait until the next day. Management is not responsive but they did provide me with a decent service when I moved out of my room and I did get 2/3 of my deposit back.
If you are all into fancy amenities and don't mind having to pay extra money for it while living in a dumpy place, that may be the only reason that justifies moving into Fair Oaks West.
