I have been living in mathilda garden apartments for a few months now. These apartments are at a great location - heart of sunnyvale. All the major stores and freeways are within minutes from this place. There is a park and a tennis center right behind the complex. And best of all, it is very affordable. The place might not look as pretty as other apartments, but the price and location beat all other considerations.
Cons:
1) Hard to find guest parking.
2) Apartment is not insulated very well. So, heating bills are usually high in winters. (But not too high. I am OK with it)
3) Size of the 2BR apartments is a bit small
4) This complex is very old(1970's) and doesn't look very pretty.
