My husband and I moved to Sunnyvale with two days to find an apartment. Places looked either to scary to live in, or the rent was outrageous. We drove by Mathilda Apartments and stopped in. I was amazed at the price. At the time, it was 750 for a studio, whereas everywhere else, it was 1000. We lucked out to walk in right as a girl was giving her notice, so we got her apartment. They put in new carpet before we moved in, so it was very clean and nice. It was very small, but very affordable. I liked the layout of the studio. I really liked the location next to the park and the cherry orchard. We only had one car and a carport so parking was never a problem. The guy beside us liked to talk loud on the phone late at night, but he worked during the day and so we never saw him or heard him other than for a little bit before we fell asleep. It was right by the road which made it a little noisy, but not too much. I really loved this place and I loved the price. The manager was really nice and helpful. I had a very pleasant experience here.
