i agree that there is a problem with ants, but if you run your dishwasher every evening and clean the counters properly - the ants never show up. to me ants were motivation to keep the place spotless. naturally it would be perfect if you could leave your mess behind and so not worry about it. never saw a rodent. laundry room is in the middle of the complex, is cheaper than "outside", i was always leaving my stuff in the drier and if i came after the cycle was over i would often find my clothes in my basket, but i was never missing anything.
pool heating didn't work, therefore even in the middle of the summer the water was too cold to swim... the manager, Harry... hmmm... a little bit lazy, does not fallow through with the phone calls and repairs, but he wasn't very controlling. this was my firs place in California, because i could not afford different one, and i made few friends that still i have.

I still live in this apartment ONLY because I cannot afford other places. I thought of moving out and working couple of hours more or sharing with some one. The manager, Harry, I guess, is irresponsible, lazy and does not show in time, dont return calls at all. mmm.. so many other problems. Many time he is very rude in answering or understanding the problems. In fact I am not able to find where to place complaint to take action. Many times he makes his own rules and many families are unhappy. In fact I met around 10 families in this complex. No one was happy
