I moved in 2004 and moved out 2009. It was almost 5 years. In this 1 br apartment, we had our first son born, second baby pregnant. It was like our home and we enjoyed it. We decided to move to a better school district because my son needs to go to school. When I moved out, I got most of my security deposit back (Edith only charged me for carpet cleaning, very reasonable).
I saw some bad reviews for this apartment. But most of them were written before the current manager, Edith, started to manage the apartment complex in 2005. As you can see, I lived here so long and had been through several managers (Managers before Edith normally stayed for only several months. But Edith has stayed for many years since then). And I can tell you that the old complaints, such as entering room without notice, un-organized parking, etc., no longer exist.
The complex we lived has a decent playground inside the gate, which is a big plus for families with kids. You can then overlook them from the balconies and watch them play.
The price is also reasonable. People living in this complex include a mix of races and they are friendly.
As for the location, it is at the heart of silicon valley and the transportation is very convenient. However, the downside is the school district is not very good (that's the reason I needed to move for my son).
All in all, Edith and her husband are very responsive and helpful. I will certainly recommend it to people searching apartments in this area.
