Believe it or not, they charge more than your deposit after you move out.
You paid 1000 for deposit when you move in but it is not enough !!!
They ask you to pay everything.
Sometimes, they give you a penalty but you did not make any mistake.
The reason is you hang something outside your room.
God! How can you deal with this such bad landlord.....

you have to speak to the authorities, city of Sunnyvale, housing authority in Santa Clara county, and most importantly Project sentinel, who are investigating them for harassment. I know the law, and you are not the problem, they are exploiting each loophole in the lease and most of them they will not be able to uphold in front of a judge, especially if sufficient number of you come up with the same pattern. I will suggest that you all need to get a good lawyer as suggested by some others and take it up with authorities...or else there is no point cribbing on this message board. You are not the last, each and every one in the apartment complex..especially if they are an Asian are being systematically harassed. Its deliberate and with an intent of malice.
