Even after reading poor reviews about this place, I thought I'll check this apartment complex. We visited(Me my wife and my visiting mother) this apartment in all 3 times to check out vacant apartments.

1st Visit - Me my wife and my visiting mother - lady at the front office asked for "my ID" as per the law and we checked out the apartment. We were more interested in the apartment that was on the 2nd floor and was not ready to be viewed so we decided to come later

2nd Visit - I come again(this time my mother and me) and (not the same lady)lady at the front office asks me for my ID as well as my mom's id - since she is visiting from overseas we dont carry her passport all the time. The lady was rude and wont let my mom come along with me to take a look at the apartment. Somehow I just ignore and check the apartment.

3rd Visit - (me, my wife and my mom) - again they ask for ids for all the of us and wont let us check the apartment. they said it was law and wouldnt let us check the apartment even when i said we checked one of their apartments just days ago with only my id. when i said i would like a copy of this law or the apartment policy the lady became very rude and asked us to leave.

I have checked 10 different apartments since then and none of them asked id for all the visiting members (only 1 id was required)

The same apartment complex had a discrimination law suit a couple of year ago which they lost and had to pay up $100K. Looks like they havent learnt their lesson yet.

I am considering some formal complaint against this apartment, I would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction.
