Please keep in mind that most of the reviews on Remington Place on aptratings.com are when this apartment complex was called Remington Arms. It appears that Remington Place recently changed management, so you may want to consider the accuracy of some of the older reviews. My review is generally positive because I feel that it is unfair to give the apartment an overall "1" rating just because of management. Good management is very important, but not the only thing to keep in mind when hunting for apartments.

First of all, I feel that this is the best bargain in the area. The complex was well-maintained: pool was sparkling clean, building in good shape, grass and vegetation properly taken care of, and rooms are clean. There is a swimming pool, separate men/women sauna to use, and two laundry rooms- all in nice condition. The property itself has great security: you need a key to enter the building where your room is located. The hallways are very impressive: carpeted and lighted just like a hotel. Rooms are generally large and have either a balcony or yard area. Lastly, most utilities are included in the price, which definitely saves you money.

The house manager/ landlord is a very nice British woman. Although most reviewers said that she is nasty, I disagree. She is quite friendly and helpful: If you have a problem she will respond is a polite and timely manner.

Overall, I am quite impressed with Remington Place. Forget the bad reviews...I was happy that I gave this place a chance! Compared to nearby shitholes like Twin Pines Manor, I wouldn't mind calling Remington Place "HOME SWEET HOME".
