*** MOVE IN/OUT ***
I signed a 6 month lease and received 1/2 month free and $100 move in bonus. I found the apartments on craigslist.org. At move in they promised me a microwave, which I received a few days later. I will be moving out at the end of my lease to find a more upscale 1 bedroom with my girlfriend. I will post an update on the refund of my deposit at that time.

*** MAINTENACE ***
I didnt really have any problems. The toilet seems to have a pretty good amount of water pressure which is good. It must be central hot water because the hot water is almost instant and you can take a 30 minute shower without getting cold. The gardeners broke a shingle on my fence in the back yard while they were blowing the leaves out. They got that fixed within 3 days. And one night I came home from work and my sink was clogged. Hope said the maintence guy had already gone home but she would call him to see if he could come back. Sure enough 30 minutes later he was here and had it fixed within 15 minutes.

*** PARKING ***
Parking is not that great. You get one assigned spot either covered or uncovered and there are about 3 visitor parking spots which are always full. There is a residential street directly across from the apartments that usually has a bit of parking room. I got an uncovered spot that was close to my apartment. But during certain seasons you will see allot of bird crap on your car. Hope the manager offered me covered parking about 2 months after I moved in but it was about as far as you can get in the lot from where I live. Allot of residents that have uncovered parking will put car covers over there vehicles to protect them. Only once did I catch someone parked in my spot. The office was already closed so I did an emergency call to Hope and she said that shed write it up and if I caught it there again she would have it towed.

*** CRIME/QUALITY OF LIVING ***
Most of the people that live here are Asian, which I like. The hallway on the first floor usually smells weird from people cooking but the 2nd and 3rd floors have windows so it's more ventilated. They have put automatic air fresheners on the 1st floor to try and solve the issue. I saw a cop in our parking lot once, not sure why he was here. We received a notice that someone vandalized the mailboxes, although I never saw it. I haven't noticed anything to terrible though, not even any new door dings on my car (knock on wood). The walls are very thin here, I can often here the pipes in the walls and even when everything is very quiet at night I can hear my neighbor snoring. I love my backyard. It has a huge redwood tree and is a pretty decent size. Overall I am pretty satisfied with my time spent here.
