This apartment itsself was not so bad when I started to live. But I don't recommend now. Even if you get discount at the first time, you must have expensive rent next year. I discontinued to live here. After the manger was changed, the management gets worse and unfriendly. Many people complained about it and moved out to another place. Many rooms are still vacant. It is caused by the manager's behavior.

Hi! I'm the manager and I'd like to thank those residents who take the time to give us reviews (yes, even the bad ones!:) I have been here for just over a year now and I'm sorry that this person found me to be unfriendly. I take extreme pride in how we, as a staff, manage this community and I would like to know what it was specifically that caused this person to have such a negative response to having lived here. As you can see, the vast majority of reviews are good, so I'm a little confused (and concerned) about this one. This person mentioned a discount when they moved in and then a higher rate after the lease was up...this is not uncommon, it is called a "move-in bonus" and most properties will offer them from time to time. They are intended to offset moving costs, etc...once the move-in bonus is over, the residents are subject to having the rent raised to the market rate. However, here at Renaissance, we try to recognize our residents loyalty and we offer them a discount from the current market rate, based on how long they have lived here. So, while this person may have received an increase, it would have been lower than what a new resident would pay.
