In reading through the reviews, I feel comfort in knowing I am not the only one who has been wrongly treated by Shadowbrook management. At the same time I am even more disgusted with their practices. The management there is flat out crooked. I can relate to many of you?. I lived at Shadowbrook for 2 years (2000-2002).



During that time I experience facility issues, one of them being the outlets in the bathrooms, they never worked, they sent someone they said was an ?electrician? to fix the problem, but they couldn?t figure it out. They indicated they were sorry, but they had done all they could.



I was also exposed to the nonstop landscape projects going on. I lived in a unit by the street and because of the landscape going on there was yellow tape everywhere and it looked like a police raid.



When my 1-year lease was up I went to renegotiate, and like many of you, the rates ended up being more expensive then if I was a brand new tenant. What about appreciating your current tenants''



Finally, I realized I was not a match for Shadowbrook and decided to move out (moving out was a great thing) but the effects were unbelievable. During my stay I kept the unit in spectacular condition. Other then normal wear and tear for 2 years of residency, there was nothing wrong with the apartment, however I received an $1800 bill for repairs. Unfortunately, I didn?t realize there was such corrupt apartment managers and did not think to take pictures upon move in or move out, so I am currently fighting this. In addition to the repairs, they charged for water and garbage bills that had already been paid. Management at Shadowbrook is unprofessional, unfriendly, and the worst part dishonest. Believe me you do not want to go through what I am going through right now, so my advice is STAY AWAY.
