1) You are the only one who can make your decisions for you - for better or for worse - live with it. If you don't like your decision - change it. You are the master of your own destiny.
2) Authority figures are not the enemy. They are people like you - and you can reason with them, provided you are a reasonable / reasoning kind of person.
3) An apartment can be your home or your prisoncell - it's up to what you make of it.
4) Gossip can be entertaining - but truth is another matter. If you can handle the truth - get it from the source.
5) Apartments are a business. When you go to the dentist do you insist the dentist give you 1/2 off your first cavity and a reduced dental rate on the remaining teeth'...
6) Read the comments posted for the other communities in the area...no one is perfect.
7) Humor is good. Turn that frown upside down and find better things to do with your life than to grumble.
