My Fiance moved into this place late last year. There was a sign on the very first day we were moving his stuff in and we of course didn't think nothing of it. I used the restroom and did a quick #1, used a tid-bit of TP and it started to flood. The maintence guy came over and fixed it before it became a horrible mess. We get back from a weekend trip (June 29-July 2) and find a note on his door: "Plumping work to be done throughout Shadow Brook, no water (dishwasher, shower, toilet etc) between 9-6pm on Thursday". That very afternoon while we were putting our camping equipment away, we heard water noise from the restroom. My fiance goes in there to find the toilet and bath tub filling up with water and black stuff. It was disgusting!!!! I was thankful at that moment it wasn't my place but felt sorry for him. Anyhow, it is now August 6th and the Manager just told him he has to pay rent until Sept. 6th because he just turned in his 30day notice, even after he hasn't lived in the place for 2 weeks now. IT SMELLS LIKE MOLD!!!!!!!!! IT STINKS!!!! SOON AS YOU OPEN THE DOOR- YOU ARE SLAPPED WITH THE SMELL. IF YOU DON"T BELIEVE ME- I'll give you a tour of the place! IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND MONEY- You will rent from another place!!!!!!!!!!! Oh I almost forgot, this place is also known for car break-ins. I can count 6 times my fiance walked me to my car (no guest parking- walk blocks to park your car) we found broken windows in the car port and along the street near the driveways.
